Our Mission
St Martin's has a lively junior church for children of all ages. In partnership with parents, we aim to introduce children to Jesus and help them to build a lasting relationship with him in a way that is interactive, relevant and fun.
What to Expect
What to Expect
Junior Church is held in the church hall during the 10am Sunday service. We have Junior Church every week except for the first Sunday of the month where we have an All Age Worship service in the main church with the whole congregation. All ages are welcome; younger members can come with their parent or guardian. To help build confidence we encourage older children to attend independently whilst their parents or guardians are in the main church service.
Godly Play
One Sunday a month, we run a Godly Play session in our dedicated Godly Play room at both 10am and 4pm. Godly Play is a unique approach that nurtures children's innate spirituality, honouring their natural sense of wonder about God, mystery, and presence. It’s a creative and thoughtful way to explore Christian stories, traditions, and practices, providing a space where children can build trust, reflect, and grow together in faith. We warmly invite children to join us for Godly Play, where they can explore faith with creativity, curiosity, and a sense of wonder. This video shows our Godly Play room:
